New - Volume 6 Number 1 Published

We are pleased to announce the publication of the 2026 issue of Auto/Biography Review.

This issue brings together a collection of articles published online first, covering a range of contemporary developments in auto/biographical research.

Featured in the issue is a new article by Maria Tamboukou, which introduces the concept of visual automathography through an analysis of portraits of the eighteenth-century mathematician, scientist and philosopher Émilie du Châtelet. The paper explores how portraiture can function as a dynamic form of scholarly self-representation and contribute to the construction of intellectual identity across the life course.
