The BSA Auto/Biography Summer Conference 2023: New Beginnings
09-07-2023
We are looking forward to the upcoming BSA Auto/Biography Summer Conference 2023: New Beginnings, which will be held from 12th to 14th July 2023 at the prestigious Wolfson College, Oxford. It is a unique platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas, network, and collaborate. The picturesque atmosphere of Wolfson College, Oxford, will serve as the backdrop for stimulating discussions, interdisciplinary dialogues, and the forging of new connections.
We are eagerly anticipating the keynote by distinguished scholar, Professor David Brown, whose expertise in practice theory is widely recognized. We are sure his insightful address will provide valuable insights and foster meaningful discussions. In addition, I am pleased to announce that David has joined the editorial board for Auto/Biography Review.
During the conference, we will also be providing an update on our journal and the exciting new forthcoming volume. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about the journal's latest developments and explore the upcoming content.
For those who are unable to attend the conference, we invite you to explore our affiliated group on the British Sociological Association's website. This group provides a virtual space where auto/biography enthusiasts can engage in ongoing conversations, share resources, and contribute to the growth of the field. You can find more information about the group at the following link: https://www.britsoc.co.uk/groups/study-groups/autobiography-study-group/.
I look forward to seeing you there,
Warm regards,
Carly Stewart
